Canon DR-2010M

The new Canon DR-2510M and DR-2010M scanners feature a Mac-compatible TWAIN driver and bundled Mac-compatible software including Canon CaptureOnTouch which enables one-touch scanning directly to e-mail, printers, shared network folders, and applications.

The driver and software bundle complements the DR-2510M and DR-2010M scanning hardware to provide the operator with complete end-to-end image capture solutions.

With a stylish look and a small footprint that Mac users will like, the Canon DR-2510M and DR-2010M scanners were designed to maximize available office space and enhance office productivity. Both the DR-2510M and DR-2010M scanners can provide fast color scanning, at speeds up to 25 pages-per-minute (ppm) simplex/50 images-per-minute (ipm) duplex, and 20ppm simplex/40ipm duplex. Excellent image quality is produced with advanced imaging features such as Advanced Text Enhancement, Color Dropout, and Auto Color Detection, as well as resolution up to 600 dpi.

In order to maximize productivity and convenience, the Canon DR-2510M and DR-2010M models include many features to help ensure easy and reliable operation such as Ultrasonic Double Feed Detection (only on the DR-2510M), Automatic Page Size Detection, and Text Orientation Recognition. Both models are also designed with a slant paper path that will allow smooth scanning of a wide assortment of documents, including thick documents, multi-sheet forms, driver licenses and embossed plastic cards.

Both the DR-2510M and DR-2010M scanners meet the ENERGY STAR Program guidelines for energy efficiency and they also comply with WEEE and RoHS directives for reduction of hazardous substances and waste products.
